Very busy macro calendar this week. Today, the main event is Janet Yellen’s speech at 9:55 am ET, titled Strengthening Communities, which will take place at the 2014 National Interagency Community Reinvestment Conference in Chicago.
Important economic data releases in the U.S. are: ISM Manufacturing on Tuesday, ADP Employment on Wednesday, ISM Non-Manufacturing on Thursday, and Payrolls on Friday. Not to mention that today is month and quarter end, and tomorrow could be active as the start of a new month and quarter.
As for single stocks, earnings does not kick off in earnest until next week, so only a few early reports this week. The Wells Fargo Tech Transformation Summit will be on Wednesday and Thursday, where a number of tech companies will present (ADBE, CSCO, CTSH, N, NTAP, NVDA, ADI).
